You can call it impulse buying, but I’ve really been thinking about it the past few weeks, and I finally did it. I’m not sure how many people would be willing to jump aboard the project, but I’m hoping that – at least in the beginning – I won’t be alone in working on this.

I’ve just bought a domain name for a blog magazine project, and I’m starting it from scratch. I think I know enough to push up its popularity, but then again, these dotcoms fall out of social consciousness so fast that I have to make it really, really stick. I think I already have solid ideas on what to include in my to-do list for this side project, I just hope everything goes according to plan.

I’m not even looking at the prospects of earning from it yet. I just want to build a brand: a small one, and grow it. I haven’t done that before. (This personal domain name does not count.) Above everything else, I want to learn how to do it, and for a minimal fee, I’ve just taken my first step.
