The Bump #1.

I know getting rammed by a Ford Expedition in morning traffic should piss just about anyone off, but oddly, I wasn’t that angry when it happened to me a couple of days ago. The owner (who was driving) was very apologetic and readily admitted his fault, offering to pay for the damages to my car (I haven’t checked the full extent of the damage: it looks like I just have to replace the bumper, but I’ve got a feeling that there’s something wrong with the trunk’s alignment, as well).

I’m supposed to revisit the police station later today to get the police report I filed when the accident happened. I want to be over and done with the insurance people and the Toyota repairmen, and just get the car back in tip-top shape for everyday use, because driving a badly damaged car feels like driving a stunt car: expendable and worth nothing.
