KL Day Three.
Wednesday, October 28, 2009 23:45(This is part of a series of entries from my October 2009 trip to Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. This entry is from October 28, 2009, on my third day in Kuala Lumpur.)
I’m technically on leave, but since I love Nuffnang KL’s orange office so much, I decided to spend the whole day working with the friendly MY Nuffies. I planned to go out early so I could explore the city, but I dilly-dallied a bit because I didn’t know where to go and I really didn’t have anyone to take me around. So by around 8PM, when I got back to the hotel and went online, Carol told me I could join them for dinner. I didn’t hesitate and told her, “Let’s go!”
Tim and Carol brought me to another bak kut teh place and like the last time, I really enjoyed it. How come there’s no bak kut teh place in Manila?
Some minutes later we were at the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (KLPAC) to look around, and I think they were performing I Have a Date with Spring, a musical. We didn’t watch it, though, because we were just there to walk around and explore the place. I think the place’s quite nice, with both modern and traditional themes present in the complex. I’d probably try watching something there, but tonight was not the night to do that (it’s quite expensive lor).
Tim and Carol gave me a ride back to the hotel (such a nice couple, those two). I enjoyed myself so much that I promised their lunch tomorrow’s on me.

Go visit KL old train station and the old court building for pictures. Putrajaya is also pretty OK for picture taking.

@Carlos: I enjoyed it. And now when I think about how everything ended was so fitting, I could move on and refocus on working back in Manila. Time to rock.
