I was so pissed off earlier this week because I badly wanted to play NBA Live 07 (nevermind 08 and 09; this one’s one of my favorites) on our PS2, and apparently my kid brother put it out of commission for good. I was wondering how I would spend the hours I used to spend playing my favorite video games then, and how about my saved games? My stupid NBA Live dynasties and the FIFA 08 football clubs I managed through several seasons already?

The new toy.

It’s a big deal for me, but everything bad went out the window when I saw a shiny new box the other morning. Since when did we have a stupid PlayStation 3? It didn’t surprise me last week when I heard my dad planned to buy one for Jules, but I thought it was something he wanted to have for my brother this Christmas. It seems now that everyone couldn’t wait for Christmas and they just went out and bought it.

Tekken 6 and GTA4.

Of course, we’re still short on games. We only have two right now: Tekken 6 and Grand Theft Auto 4. And I’m planning to buy only three before the year ends: NBA Live 10, Fight Night Round 4, and FIFA Soccer 10.

I guess for now, I’ll have to content myself with picking fights with faceless people using Heihachi Mishima. Again.
