The nearest shawarma joint: why the fuck do we like it so much?

There’s this shawarma place at Market! Market! that Nuffies usually frequent for lunch: we particularly like the shawarma rice from this small booth, but not without minor qualms about it. I’ve always found the sauce too thick, the rice too weird, and the potatoes out of place, but yes, we eat there a lot! Heto ang litrato ng mahiwagang shawarma rice ng Food Channel:

I was asked by a friend over lunch, "How'd they color the rice orange? I wonder." I said, "Wonderful ayt!"

Carlos commented: “Panget ng picture. Hindi mukhang masarap.” But exactly! It’s not delicious! But I love it! Fuck the fact that I don’t noe why lah. Marahil dahil sabi nila:
