Processes
To keep things in order (because this blog is really special to me and I want to keep things here neat and orderly), I’m standardizing post-processing steps with regards to photos and videos, as well as permissions and licensing details with regards to usage of the original content I am posting here.
Photos. All photos, starting 1 January 2010, will follow these standards:
- Storage on Flickr, cross-posted on Shootdelay. Previously, some photos were watermarked “juddstamaria.com” and stored via Photobucket; as of this update, all watermarks will be the standard “shootdelay.juddstamaria.com” labels and stored exclusively on Flickr.
- Sizing will follow one of the following standard dimensions (in pixels): 480 x 360, 480 x 271, 480 x 480, or any of the previously mentioned dimensions rotated by 90 degrees.
Videos. All videos, starting 1 January 2010, will follow these standards:
- Storage on YouTube, cross-posted on Shootdelay.
- All videos will no longer be labeled using YouTube’s built-in labeling functions; as of this update, all videos will be watermarked via video editing before being uploaded to YouTube.
- All videos are to be shot in WVGA or HD, post-processed with Adobe Premiere Pro, and converted to FLV with Adobe Media Encoder (built-in preset: FLV – Web Large, Widescreen Source, Flash 8 or higher) prior to uploading.
Licensing and Permissions (guidelines to usage of original content posted on this blog). To be updated soon.
