A Couple of Tech Upgrades.
Friday, August 28, 2009 22:35 5 CommentsI have two important tech upgrades planned for the week, both much-needed and relieving. Firstly, I’m upgrading my old laptop, and though it’ll be hard to part with the unit I’ve been using for about two years now, it has become a real necessity. I’ve been multi-tasking like crazy and the laptop’s been having a [...]
Lightshow, Nightshow.

Thing with my Acer Aspire 4710 is that it has become too slow, too full, too stupid for my needs. The other one, the Compaq, isn’t really mine. However, I do realize that it’s just something I want, and I’m not ready to spend yet with the thousands in cold cash [...]
The Hunt for the Backup Camera: Part 3.
Wednesday, May 20, 2009 12:12 6 CommentsTook the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28 for a test drive last night; took Jek, Jyl, and Jia for a drive to the ADMU campus for a night shoot. Jek brought his Canon EOS 450D.
After only a few shots (and Jek’s lone shot), the guard shooed us away. He said we needed a special permit to shoot [...]
